TO be able to ship games from your Wii to your DS or visa versa, ya need 2 things,( besides internet connection ), You need DIY showcase( (witch is 800 points on thee wii shop channel ) and on the DS you need the DIY game.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail on thiss, cause there are tutorials on the web and in the DITY game, plus on the Nintendo channel.

OK, there is no real game play here, all you do is basically test Micro games.

Howw to download the games, ............

in this section, I will talk about the DS and wii and how to download Micro games.

Step one , Make sure you have the diy showcase ( wiiware ) software on the wii menu, then start the software and select Distribution Center, yo will see 3, choices , pic Ninsoftware, this is the main area ware yo can download games, it has 3 sub catagories ro choose from, each one has games , so it d'ont matter wich one, you choose.

Now On the DS, its a bit different, I rec amend you use the wii to send games to the DS. once you start he DIY game, go to the DIY Manual ( page 324) and read the 3 step instructions.
These instructions came in handy for me , so read them in order.
OK once yo got the Wii and DS connected, you can Ship to the DS, this can be found on (page 25) of the DIY Instruction booklet.

ON page 39 to 64, you will learn about the gane making procedss and connectivity types, like I said I', not going into a lot of detail here, I'll mostly give the page numbers of the things , I talk about.

You may be wondering why I riposted this section , well it's because I re- wrote it .
Things are now in order by the area they are found in .
Also I added a link to my pics I took while swimming around in various Oceans, seas and rivers.
(see link at bottom of post)

Also. If I have my info wrong or anything seems like it needs more detail , leave a comment will give you credit for any info you want to add.

Your Adventure starts on Location: Nineball Island

This is ware you sleep, save your progress ans photos , train the Dolphin, change gear and get info from you group members on such things as Dive Tours, Photo Requests, Salvage Jobs and more.

Not a lot goes on here, but there are a thew quests /task that partly start on the island.
For example once you buy the "Guitar " and"Telescope". "Special Requests" will be available to you.
At the moment I have not finished any of those Special Requests, please stay tuned for more.

Use the" Dive Log " to save , Use the radio to "call Nancy" when you want to buy items or have items "appraised", the camera is ware you develop your photos and send them to the "photo album" or SD card", I wont be going into a lot of detail about Salvage items or were landmarks are, basically because I used pictures and you can probably find video on you tube.

Your first task awaits ya, have fun Diving

Tips :
First friend the Dolphin

Second save the salvaging for after ya get the Medium bag

Dot try and swim past the warning areas

Beware of sharks and other dangerous creatures

D o try and take as many photos as you can in a dive session

Do Speak to Jean -Eric and Oceana as much as you can

Some of the events mentioned above will only t happen after you complete other events , for example,you must get the "Multisensor" before doing ant Salvage requests, and you must finish map data before you can take on any diving tours.
Wait till "GG" joins your group be fore doing any "Salvaging ", He can become helpful while "Savaging" .

Location :Gatama Atoll

Request : Sealed Away

Inside Deep Dome is a Chamber us sealed by a Rock , make sure you befriended the dolphin early in the game, because you will need it's help . "Head to Deep Hole ", the place were you helped Oceana find the pendant.
Go as far down as you can a look around for a blocked cave and then click on the rock, a cut scene will take place, and you and the Dolphin will move the rock and a Pygmy Sperm Wale will swim out. Once you can control your diver again , Swim in the now unblocked "Chamber".
Search around till you see a glowing object, click on it to see a coin, now head to the boat and back to Nineball Island.

Request : When The Stillness is Broken

One again you will need to Dive with the Dolphin, So once your in the Water head For "Blue Cliff " in South west "Gatama Atoll" , look for a blocked Cave and repeat the steps mentioned in the first Request.You should Find A coin in the cave as well.

In "Gatama Atoll" there are 3 sick animals and you were asked to heal them.

Treasure Rumors : Legend of Dolphin Island

In Gatama Atoll. your will find The "Holly Treasure " near a tall towering landmark , use the Multisens0r to search for ant items that may be near by .

Once again you must search "Deep Hole " in "Gatama Atoll", this time you must find a pair of scissors, once you have them, go back to " Nineball Island " and talk to 'Nancy" .

Lo0k in " Deep Hole and use the " Multisensor to search for items , amoung the Items will be the " British Treasure ".

Fishermen's Talk : TriDENT Ring

Look in "Deep Hole" at the bottom in " Serpents Lair", check the walls with the "Multisensor", one again you need to have "Nancy appraise you salvaged items.

Location: Ciceros Straight

Item : Lapis Lazuli Chip

Right off the bat your given the Multisensor, the first time you use it you find a Lapis "Lazuli Chip" in the North Canyon, not bad for you first trip here. Your trip ends early , there is a whirlpool blocking the path i in the North Canyon. Nothing more to do here, so head back to nine ball Island and talk to Oceana, she has some info for you and not to mention , you get paid for your map data.

This item can be found in "Ciceros Straight" near the "North Ciceros Undine"

Section : D8 ( Triton Village Ruins)

This section lies Near the "East Ciceros Undine ". It's best to swim here at night.
Once You get the night gear , things will be a breeze , Once you find your way to 'Triton Village Ruins ", you will encounter GG and have a short chat with him , GG leaves yo to deal with a giant Great White Shark , during the short battle , you dive in a well and find a passage that Leads into "Valka Castle.

Location : Valka Castle

Be careful in this area , there are dangerous Fish around, like "Luna Lionfish".

OK the main task here is to find the "Kings Chamber , witch is off of the "Mermaid's Ballroom", you must find a key to open the locked door.

Item :Glorious Key

the key is on the thrown in Mermaid's ballroom", Be careful , there is a Luna Lionfish near by .
Once you got the "GLORIOUS Key ", you can go unlock the door to the "King's Chamber".

inside you can find 2 coins , once you get the "Large Bag"from Nancy, come back here and salvage more items.

Inside the " Secret Room you will find a Lapis Lazuli Tablet", a"ingot" and a " Mysterious Chest", Grab only the tablet . you cant put any more items in you bag right now. Go back out into the "King's Chamber ", Check the desk to find a "Lever" , now you can pen the door and leave. the key is to open the door when Oceana pulls the
lever.

(Return to this are one you get the large bad from Nancy.)

Once your free , head back to Nineball Island.

Treasure Rumors: Riddle of the e Prince

In the "Mermaid's Ballroom " use the "Multisensor near the thrown, look on top of the are above the thrown to find the " Locked Box, once you found the item , head back to Nine ball Island and have Nancy appraise any items you have salved.

Side note: This task my not be available till after you complete other quests or requests.

Treasure Rumors : Treasure Volt Rumor

In "Valka Castle", there is a door with a hole in it , click on the door and have Oceana swim though the hole. Now ou can use the " Multisensor in the room to salvage for items.

side note: it is best to wait till you get the large bag from "Nancy".

Treasuure Rumors : Valka Castle Rumor

In "Valka Castle ", you can find all sorts of things with the "M ultisensor" , On e such item is the "Rural Painting "

Quest: Pride of the Salvage King
FF returns to ask you to salvage the " Noble Cargo " from " Valka Castle", but there is a lot more you can salvage, check the castle's room for books, dolls and paintings.

Special Request : Momento

To start this event, you need to buy the" Classic Guitar" from 'Nancy" , A scene will start after you click on the Guitar and Oceana will tell you there is Guided Tour Request from Marzia.
This is more like a Salvage job, but , help Marzia get a suitcase from a Ship Wreck in the West near D-1.
Once you have the "suitcase", you will automatically head back to the Island a ply a song.
A scene wii start and end with you getting to keep the guitar.

A man by the name FF shows up and asks you to find the " Tourmaline Ring " for him , the Ring can be found near the " Wreck of the Demeter" in "Cicero Straight "., once you ring the ring , return to "Nineball Island " and speak with " Nancy , have here a praise the ring, then talk to "Jean- Erick to get payed.

FF has asked you to find "German Pottery ", the item can be found near the " Ship Wreck' near the " Triton Village Ruins" in "Cicero Straight", just like with the last Salvage , you will need to call Nancy and repeat the last steps again to get payed.

3 Monk Seals in Ciceros Straight need healed , search " Blue Dome(west )", " the Emerald Lady"(south ) and west of "North Ciceros Undine.

Professor Hayako has finished deciphering the tablet, but before you can speak with her the curator needs you to fill the tanks and the Annex,
Once you have done so see the curator , he will call the professor for you.
The professor speaks of the Pacifica Treasure, looks like a new Adventure awaits.
After he scene with the professor, you can head back to Nineball Island.
The professor will now join your party.

you will be taking a survey, Swim withe professor , she will be able to tell you information on animals you find along the way , just simple click on her and chose talk.
You will hear a strange sound, you must find the source of the sound , watch the screen . text will pop up with various directions of the sound, but don't stray to far from
"Special Ice burg A-sm 16p"

GG shows up on Nineball Island. he talks about a link between the "Song of Dragons"and a South American River.
Dive in to the River and GG will join you and explain where your headed .
Your Destination is the : Spirit Falls", follow the winding river up to the falls , be sure to click on as many creatures as ya can along the way .

R0ver's treasure.........

This treasure is hidden in a Ice burg in the Weddell Sea in the Antarctic, There is an iceberg (A-sm 16)p that has 2 wholes in it, swim in (Core2 ) and use the multisensor to find the treasure.

Crusader Loot......
Check the Triton Village Ruin area with the multisensor , Once you find the treasure head back to Nineball Island and call Nancy, have appraise anything you have salvaged.

Salvage request : Find the vinegar for Jean-Erick's friend .......

Head to Cicero Straight, search for the wreckage of the Flamingo, once there search for a barrel .
The barrel should contain the vinegar that you need to return to Jean-Eric .

The Floating Island.......

In Gatama Atoll, you will need to find find Cake Rock.

The Floating Island appears, then is gone again, Look for Gatama's Navel ( See image below).

once there, A cut scene will trigger and a Giant Turtle ( Cacao Maharaja ) will swim by, This Turtle is Know to god luck.
So it was the turtle the whole time?

Dark Shadow.........

Talk to Oceana, She will mention a dark shadow in Cicero Straight, Look in the South canyon for the cause of this weird event.

Down in the south , below the south canyon marker on the Map, you will find the Emerald Lady ( the site were you can find a sic Monk Seal) and a cut scene further to the South Est, a huge Sea Serpent will swim by, Oceana thinks this may be the cause of the Dark Shadow.

Head to the boat and depart for Nineball Island , save your game avd then talk to Oceana.

She will talk to you about the sea Serpent and tell you about LL making it to the top.

Womaen's murder club for DS

Let me start by saying the TV show was great, now there is the DS game.

This simple point and tap function makes it easy to play the game.
Other features include a hint button and if you have a DSI you can play "Photo Miseries ", Once you have solved a crime or completed a level, the next time you go to play the game the screen after the start svreen will have 4 choices.......
A Chapter number, new game (twice) and photo misteries, witch is tony playable on a DSI.

IF your starting the game for the first time, you probally wont see 4 choices.

So on with the review/info .........

You will be playing as Detective Lindsay Boxer, along the way you get help from other characters such as Claire , Jacobi, Cindy and more.
The Game play consists of item hunting , puzzle solving and in some cases Games, like Mahjong, witch can be played from the pause menu or PDA.

You job is to find items that are listed on the left hand side, this makes it look like a book when you hold the DS or DSI.

each Chapter progresses in stages ...
Stage One is clean up , here you find items that are not related to the case.

Stage 2 is case item search, here you find items related to the case.

Stage 3 is usually broken up between visits to the Morgue and suspects.

Stage 4 is the end of the chapter were you are joined by Claire, Cindy and Yuki to go over the case .

Some times you do have to salve puzzles when your in the morgue, but they are somewhat simple, so don't get discouraged.

Basically this Game is a hidden item game and if you get stuck, you have 3 hints you can use.

To access the hint button , Simply use the Start button on the DS or DSI, it the icon that looks like a light bulb with a question mark, also here you can find the exit game icon , Mahjong, options, notes and the back button.

One last thing . I forgot to mention..........
You Navigate by using the up, Down left and right pad on the DS or DSI, When you need to visit Suspects homes or businesses, you are automatically switched to the map, A location will pop up , simply click on it.

I've had this dock for a few month now , and I like it.
The doc in question is the universal ipod doc from apple.
This is not one of those fancy docks, like the ones ya see that look like boom boxes.
No its just plain and simple and that's why I like it, this dock has the basics, like audio out and the ability to charge from the doc, instead of from the ipod.
One bonus , is the ability to plug it into a TV via s-video, so you can watch video you buy from Itunes.
Its so small , you can pack it in your suitcase or in a laptop bag for on the go.
From What I can tell, you can use this doc with ipod classic, and any ipod that has a dock connector on the bottom, an adapter may be needed for other Ipods.

I ordered this ipod case on amazon.com, The shuffle 4th gen,slides right in and the case allows ya to use 3.5 headphones. The audio is pretty good.

The controls.........

Simply tap a button, + for volume up and - for volume down.
Use the s for play, pause and other functions.

My thoughts....

The slide in ease of use, is a good feature of this case, the addition of using headphones with a 3.5 jack is handy, and the 3 buttons are big enough to see and press.

The only problem I can see, is the power switch gets covered by the bottom of the case, so you need to turn your shuffle on before sliding it into the case.
Overall, I like this product.

The very first thing ya need to do is create 2 layers , you can add more as needed.

just like in my last post, you need to place the image you want into a highlighted layer , preferably the bottom most layer.
The top layer will be the text layer, don't worry, what ever layer has the text , can be moved up.
Please make sure you are working on a blank layer, this helps keep things organized and it helps when ya need to make changes, you can also lock the unused layers, this helps make sure you don't fudge up any other art work or images.

Ok now on to using the text tool ..........

the text tool should be on the left side , it looks like a uppercase T.
Any text you type can be edited ,. thats one reason for putting it on a separate layer, You can chamge the color, size and placement of the text at any time.
Once you have everything the way you want it, it's a good idea to click save as and save your project as a .psd file.
This will allow you to come back later and make more changes.

One thing to consider when adding text is , what Is this project being used for , this will help decide color, size and placement.
if your using you project for tv ad, then you want big font and light text color, the placement should be dead center.
Color also depends on the image's colors or background, domt use dark text on a dark background and visa versa.

one last thing to consider isv tv sizes , you don't want your text cut off , so test your finished project on verious tv's, most common tv's are 4:3 and 16:19, if you cant see your text on a 4:3 tv or monitor , you will need to change the placement.

The very first thing ya need to do is create 2 layers , you can add more as needed.

Then go to bridge and select the image ya want and right click , make sure you have one of the layers highlighted, and choice place into pshotoshop elements, do the same with the next image you want to use , only this time you need to highlight a new blank layer.

Lets say you want to have these images merged, well depending on hitch style you want to use. you will need to remove the background from one image , this will help create a transparent background.
I f you only want to have a co lodge effect , you can skip the background removal.

Each version of PSE has its different background removal methods. pse 6 has a specail toll called "Magic extractor " , in another versions you may have ti use the crop and magic wound tools to remove the background.

I se no reason for 3d of any kind , for one thing rhe glasses or dorky, second of all 3d should stay in the movie theathers.
Me i hate 3d, every movie or tv show i ever saw looked like crap, and yes i was waring the 3d glasses.

why 3d tv ?

Ok HD tv came out and I asked why ,well now I think HD TV's are reasonably priced.
Now I ask why 3D tv?, I see no reason for such a thing, the technology is so out dated to me and those classes are so out of fashion.
I feel the movie industry are only pushing this 3D stuff, because they are running out of cash and ideas.

X-men Orgins Wolverine

Just watched X-men orgins wolverine , I must admit disappointed I must say.
First off the movie never showed any of Wolverine's weapon x days, nor does it explain why Wolverine got the name Logan and it never goes into James Howlett's life before the weapon x days.
There was no mention of omega flight or shield in the movie either .
The way they set deadpool up at the end was really dumb , I mean come on , realistically dead poll never had all those powers . Victor creed is not Wolverine's brother and James Howlett grew up with a boy named Dog anyway.

I'm Tired of these so called writers messing the storyline up in movies based on comics.

Over all I give the movie 5 stars out of 10

Bloody disgusting scenes of zombies feasting on human bodies ahead for sure! But I hope that Resident Evil 4 will find a better balance between pure action and plot…

Short Wii review

I 've been playing Wii Sports , Wii Fit and Wii play for a couple of months now , I gota say , it's really fun .

So far Wii sports has ben the best one I've played , Ware else can you bowl , golf , box and play baseball and tenes as your own personal MII ?

Enouth about the fun I've been having , lets get to the main reason I'm writing this post ,

The Wii will play Gamecube games , It has a slot for SD cards , it has an lan adapter , question is what won't it do lol .

The Wii has 3 panels , or areas , the front is ware the games , power and SD card are housed ,

The back is ware the tv , lan and power connections are . The top is ware the Game cube memory and controllers are .Oh almost forgot the sensoer bar , thats what allows you to use the wiimote with the games.

In order to play the WII Sports games ya need an Mii , this is done on the Mii channel , other channels can be accessed via the internet adapter , the game disk is the first channel ,and it won't apear till you insert a game .

After you create a mii , you need to sync the wiimote, or motes . Most likely you bought the wii play that comes with a wiimote .So lets say you got the wiimotes synced up , now you can play any of the wii sporrts or wii play games , have fun.

Spore Creatures for DS

I got a Nintendo DS for my birthday last year , it was a surprise gift from my sister. I also got Spore Creatures (SC) and I'm hooked on the game, even though the graphics may not be top of the line.

As far as fun goes, SC is very addictive. You start out with one friend who ends up kidnapped by an alien, so you spend a good amount of the game getting stronger and evolving. During your adventure around the island you can pick up body parts of other creatures and make friends with some of those creatures. This is key to your survival because your friends help you during battle with other unfriendly creatures.

Once you defeat certain creatures you gain access to their nest and unblock caves that lead to new areas of the island. When you enter a cave, a save question will pop up, you can say yes and your progress will be saved. Saving during any point of the game can be accessed using the start button, which is also how you quit the game.

You can also save your creature designs/ evolving looks, you do this by choosing the burrowing icon. Once you're in your nest tap around until a set of icons appears, among those icons is the creature creation icon. There you can evolve your creature and save your creature. Along the left side are body parts, the left side are various body part modifiers such as the size bar. Leveling up your character is as easy as eating plants or dead creatures you defeat in battle. Evolving is mostly done by changing your characters features in the creature creator, accessed via the nest.

Now go out and get this game if you own a DS.

Review: Word Brain for DS

This is a collection of word games, You can choose from 6 different Game modes .

In this review I Will go over each mode and try to give you a good ideal of what each game type is like.

according to the manual....

Word Link

you have 90 seconds to find as many 3-6 letter words as possible.

Word Mine

you have 90 seconds to make words from 6 jumbled up letters.

Hyper Text

use the phone pad to spell the word on the left , you must tap the phone style pads 1 to 3 times depending on what letters you need.

Word Run

on a 6x6 game board , a six letter word will be entered , you must enter words until there is no more room.

Word Safe

you have 90 seconds to find words that are locked in Margot's safe.

and

Word Search

you have 20 seconds to find the 3 words Margot shows you .

Ok so now you got an idea, now for my thoughts....

At first I had trouble , but after a few tries I got the hang of it.

Challenging , yes , fun , might be an understatement , hard might also be a good word to describe the difficulty.

Yes the time frame can get annoying , but then that's the challenge.

I don't recamend this game for kids under the age of 10, maybe bee more ideal for teens and adults .

Overall I give it a 3 outa 5 stars

Review :Mega Brain Boost fr DS

This is another Flash Focus and Brain Age type of game , but like Flash focus it's more casual and dose not frown upon you like brain age.

A collection of brain challenging game , ware as Flash Focus is for your eyes.

This Game features 15 different training games and, Multilayer mode .

The Training games ivclude Remeber colors, remember numbers ,

remenber circumstances , remember faces and a lot more .

This Game is rated E for Everyone , so even kids can have fun with it , Although it may be a problem for kids and adults with low tension span.

I enjoyed this game, the exercises are challenging enough to keep me playing.

I give it a 3 outa 5 stars do to the fact it's to much like Flash Focus and the other brain training games.

review : Sim City Creator for DS

You start off with Mr Maxis guiding you and he will pop up from time to time . You need to give him your name and eventually name your city or village depending on what mode you choose.There are 2 modes , Challenge and free play. Free play has only one location to choose from and one Era to start with , you must complete Challenges in Challenge mode to unlock other eras. There are also Buildings in challenge mode that when unlocked become available in Free play.

As expected you use the stylus to pick from Different Sub Sheets, which include Sim Sheet. Choose this sheet to see what your citizens are thinking . The Build Sheet is were you find your building materials , such as houses and power plants. Budget sheet is all about the finances. Info Sheet is were you look at your progress of land use and pollution . Last but not least you Have your Option Sheet and save sheet .

Now here is the bad news once you get A town or village done at any time you can get hit by Tornados , Fires or Earthquakes , even a riot could break out . These can be turned of in free play mode , but you will have to deal with them in challenge mode. One cool feature of this game I like is the addition of alternative power plants and other green living things you can use . They have wind power and geothermal buildings in this game.

Overall , I enjoyed this game on my DS, not to much of a headache like most finance strategy games I've played . For one thing other games I've played have people screaming and wining at ya like the Sims, some give time limits .

Over all I give this game 4 stars out of 5 .

Metal Gear , I 'd like to see old NES versions for the DS /GBA, I'd like to play the first games of the series.

I'd like to see remakes of Final Fantasy 1-ix for the game cube ur DS , again so I can go back an play the older ones.

I'd like to play older Atari 2600 games on my PS2 or gamecube , relive the days of jurney and asteroids.

I'd like to see all ps2 games be compatable with the p23

I'd like to see a pc that you don't have to constantly put a cd into to play a game.

i'd like to see a device that will play all CD /DVD based games .

i'd also like to see one game that all you do to upgrade to the next version is buy a cheap download that just adds everything you need.

FF 12 :beating earth tyrant

First I recamend you level up t0 at least 40

2nd you need the Francisca (ax)

3rd you need at least 2 Espers

and last you need plenty of mp to use cure and quickening

What i did was , I got Belias , leveled up by doing some of the other mark hunts and traveling to other areas on the map , got Mateaus and defeated the The Mandragorras and found the Francisca (ax), you will also need to get the right license to use it .

So if ya go to teleport back to the east area of Dalmaska and take the boat across the river and head for a slit in the mountain that leads to the west area of Dalmaska , you can buy the map from the cartograpers' guide.

What i'd like to see in resident evil 6

I'd like to see Barry return as the main character , I mean come on Chris . jill , Rebeca , leon and Claire all got their share of being in other ganes in the franchise , heck even wesker returned in Code Veronica x.

Or how about making a game based on the books , Like Caliban Cove , perhaps a game featuring Alice or Carlos from the movies .

It's probably only a wish that will never happen , but capcom should think abot it for future RE games.
